Subscriptions for the membership year run from 1st April 2019 to 31st March 2020.
  • Payment Dates: Fee payments to be made in full or 2/3rd's by 30th March and balance by 30th June. 
  • Fee Refunds: Once paid, membership fees are non-refundable. 
  • No Pay / No Play: The club operates this strict policy. 
  • Pro Rata Fee Reductions: Join from 1st May - 8%; 1st June - 16%; 1st July - 24% etc etc. 
  • Membership Category: The club year runs from 1st April. It is your age on this date which defines your category. 
  • Joint Playing Membership: For information on joint section memberships please contact the club membership secretary.  
  • New Members: Potential new members will be given 1 month’s free trial membership and thereafter must join.
  • Admission to the Courts: Any member has the power to evict from the courts anyone who is not a member.
  • Visitors: Must be accompanied by a member and each member can bring one visitor per month.
  • Expulsion of Members: The Management Committee reserve the right to expel a member from the club whose conduct appears to them to endanger the character, interests, or good of the tennis section, or who acts in defiance of its Constitution providing the majority of the committee deem it so. 
Playing Hours and Entitlement
  • Team Match Practice: Men’s match practice is on a Monday night and Women’s on a Thursday night. Use of the courts during these times by other members will be at the discretion of the teams. 
  • Matches: During any team match the use of the courts by other members will be at the discretion of the team captain. 
  • Social Tennis: Social Tennis is on a Wednesday night and this will be organised accordingly. 
  • Reserving of Courts: The Management Committee shall have power to reserve certain courts in the event of tournaments, coaching, organised social play, matches or match practice. 
  • Members Waiting: Period of play is restricted to 30 minutes where all 4 courts are occupied and members are awaiting play. Preference should be given to doubles rather than singles. 
  • Juniors: Senior members take precedence over junior members after 19:00 on week days and after 13:00 on weekends. 
  • Open Days: All visitors and members are welcome to attend.
British Tennis Membership
The club would encourage all members to have British Tennis Membership. Membership can be obtained on the LTA website and is free. Your British Tennis Membership number allows you to play in club matches and be eligible for tickets in our annual Wimbledon ballot.
